‘Christmas Elf’ for two Christmas experiences and organisations, working back to back daily from 14th of November to 24th of December 2024.First organisation was a Christmas Grotto train experience in a shopping centre in North London. Greeting families of all ages, physical backgrounds & additional needs. Role included lots of improv, live entertainment and always on demand strong presence and personal meet and greet for every carriage. Second organisation was Santa & Elf visits all around London. From personal home visits, nurseries to big cooperate gigs and more, the role included a 35 minute scripted immersive live theatre show which followed the story of ‘Elf McSprout’ and Santa trying to find out who is on the naughty & nice list. Coming from a background of Youth/Support Work, as well as an interest in working within Children’s TV during my career, this role was a perfect oppourtubity for myself to hone in on, advance my skillset within, and more importantly entertain and heighten so many families Christmas experience. From multiple tricks, songs, reading stories and doing over 100+ shows and working with over 1,000+ children in total. Having only moved to London in June this year, this was also a perfect way for me to get to know and see all the areas of the city. This last month and a half has been extremely exhausting, but incredibly rewarding in many ways. I’m extremely appreciative for all the opportunities I’ve had this year since moving to London, and I am looking even more forward to seeing what’s next in store for 2025.
